The primary task of the Campus Council is to promote cooperation and coordination between actors on campus, including supporting the continued development of interdisciplinary and collaborative projects. In addition, the Campus Council has an important role as an active party in the physical development of the campus, as well as acting as a forum for strengthening the academic and social environment on campus. The Council also has an important role in supporting the work and activities of the Study Environment Group in Copenhagen. Furthermore, the Campus Council advises the Executive Board, Line Management and Head of Campus on relevant matters on campus.

The council consists of representatives from the local departments on campus, two students and the chairperson of the Study Environment Group in Copenhagen. The campus director is the chairperson of the council.
